About Francine Christensen

I have a deep passion for painting wildlife and nature, which I find in abundance living in the Australian bush. My property is located on the Great Dividing Range in The Granite Belt region of Queensland, Australia. The beauty of my surroundings and the wildlife I observe daily constantly inspire my paintings. I am particularly fascinated by native birds, animals, and flowers, and I find great joy in capturing them on canvas.

My love for painting and drawing began when I was just ten years old. After high school, I pursued my passion further by studying at the Seven Hill College of Art in Brisbane for three years. I primarily work with oil paints, watercolors, and pastels—each medium offering its own unique way of bringing my subjects to life.

All of my prints are directly taken from my original paintings, and some of my works are available as originals. If you can feel my passion and inspiration when you view my art, I consider that a true accomplishment.
